Hung

Today I will be mostly hanging around.
And tomorrow. And the next day.

But I'm a patient guy.
An accepting bear.

So, although I occasionally wonder
what I'm doing here,
I hang on in there.

And, yes, sometimes the days
stretch out
like a piece of string.

I hang from them. Am hung.
And I do find myself thinking, how long?
How long?
