An restoration I think..

I stopped to post a long over due letter near this house which seems to be taking forever to restore, as I drove away I noticed the next house had a skip in its path (not noticed that before) the one you can see has also recently undergone a new porch by the looks of it!

Its a sign of the times that more and more houses are being extended re-roofed and other big repairs, this I suppose instead of selling and moving to newer or bigger properties.
Good news for the small builders I think.
Something strange going on in Prescot this morning (I Don't normally shop there in the week) the larger car park was almost full to bursting' I found a spot in a side road eventually it wasn't until I was driving towards home down the main road did the reason occur to me.
Another car park was a pay and display and almost empty but usually full(recently introduced all over Knowsely) the main one where I had first tried to park was still free.
It used to be a pay and display but that stopped the end of last year, due I think to complaints from the small shops in the town, that trade was being lost to the very large nearby Tesco's.
Overcast day with light showers that have cooled the place down nicely.
