Sunrise at Montrose Beach

Saturday morning I went with a group of photogs to shoot the sunrise at Montrose Beach & Harbor in Chicago.

We arrived at 4:30am when it was still pitch black outside. Two things went wrong. First...there were 20 of us. Though it is a large beach there are certain areas that give the best composition. We were on top of each other. Second, I left my camera on ISO 1600 from thursday night. I wasnt awake enough to think about it. So, every shot was bad...very grainy and...just bad.

This was the best I could salvage from the lot. Live and learn!
Now I need a do over. haha!
