The start of a great Alsace wine.

Riquewihr is a romantic little medieval village hidden between the Vosges mountains and some of the most famous vineyards in Alsace, on the French-German border. It is often claimed that that the village looks exactly as it did in the 16th Century, well if you ignore the tourist shops and the restaurants then perhaps it does. It is without doubt a very beautiful village indeed.
