Parenthood

Today we made it to the outdoor swimming pool.

Abs went in and played really nice, but all the other kids played in their own groups, not really ignoring Abs, but unwilling to let her join in. all the other kids were older than abs, as she is only three, but quite tall and articulate for her age, so i suppose if she was with her own age group things would be different, so i do take some comfort. she rarely sees other kids her age at present, but hopefully when she starts nursery next month, she will start making some friends!!

the heart wrenching part was on the way home i asked "did you enjoy playing with the boys and girls", and she answered "daddy, they kept running away from me" absolutely gutted.......

it rained after tea, this is out the front window during afore mentioned rain.....
