The Meridian Line

Louth is on the Meridian line.

This statue which is just round the corner from our flat and opposite the church has, we think, something to do with it.

The tape which has words written on it goes into the ground. There are a couple of streets in Louth where a similar tape runs across the pavements and these announce that you are standing on the Meridian Line.
