Today started with on dew and a flyer, in the field cutting before 11.00hrs.Then as India crumbled in the 2nd Test, the skies filled with leadend cloud. We watched as rain ran along the horizon all around us, then disaster struck! The combine injesteted a piece of fallen tree and refused to digest it! one hour lost and the rain closer,repaire effected and the field finished. Desaster No2 combine driver reports loss of drum speed, cant go to next field until repaired, and then rain comes! Repair baffles agents mechanics. So home early, meal at a reasonable time and time to sample the juice of the barley insteed of its dust!
