Sempervirens up close

I had to go to a large well known garden centre today so took along my camera as I thought I was bound to catch a great flower or plant in all its abundance - how wrong I was , the flowers all looked well passed their best and uncared for so I came back and looked for some inspiration in our garden, which despite us being away recently is still looking good. The pots of sempervirens provided some good close ups and the contrast with the deep magenta tipped succulent leaves gave this blip the edge.
