Someone was singing this at work today and decided I would look for a high rise block to celebrate this Glaswegian song. A lament for the loss of tenement dwelling during the 50s and 60s, when Glasgow reached for the skies and beyond ... and still have some of the highest high rise flats in Europe.

As the immortal cry goes up ... Haw Maw ... gies a piece ...
