W G Grace 1848-1915

Visited the last home of England cricketer W G Grace today.
'Fairmount' is now a residential care home for the elderly in Mottingham. It is a listed building but has had a number of extensions over the years. Was able to see a few rooms and their interiors. All beautifully maintained with original fireplaces and ceilings.
You can just see the blue plaque on the front of the building.
