Summer in Montreal

Though it was hot and humid today, and probably because of it, we had a couple of really bad thunderstorms in the afternoon. As I was heading home, the sky was looming gray over downtown and a strange cloud formation was just to the west of it. I took this just in time as a new thunderstorm started within a few minutes, and there was even hail banging on the metal top of the bus. As I was looking at the small grains of ice on the road, I was hoping they would not grow to golfball size. Not sure our Montreal buses would have survived that seeing as nothing else survives Montreal. (Inside joke for those in the know.)

But... c'est l'été à Montréal et demain il fera beau encore.

P.S. This was taken at about 5:40 in the afternoon, not evening yet. The darkness is due to the storm.
