Pelicans

On the way home from work I drove by the river. There were several pelicans stopping by for a fish dinner. They were in two groups about a quarter mile apart. They were flying right by my car, some within about 20 feet. Now I know someone will say they are a pest bird but they are still a creature of this planet and we share with them this world.

I am trying to shoot more animal and people images now. All I have to do is grow a backbone.
