Bike Party

Rhys celebrated his 7th birthday on Thursday and having received a shiny bike we headed off to Alyn Waters for a bike party with his new pride and joy. Some frantic pedalling and exlopration of the park tracks soon built up an appetite for a picnic lunch and chocolate muffin birthday cakes. Sadly the candles refused to stay alight in the afternoon breeze, but the out of tune happy bithday rendition seemed to finish things off nicely.

I've always tried to give the boys happy memories and hopefully they will look back in years to come and remember these times with the same affection as I remember my childhood experiences. The hug I got off them both at the end of the day seemed to suggest the day had been a success.
