ROAR!

Today my new face painting DVDs arrived so I decided I needed to get out my kit and have a bash.

I was inspired by one of the greats - Mark Reid. He paints the most amazing tigers. I wanna be like him! So here it is, my version of his style of painting.

I LOVE to paint tigers, and surprisingly I don't get to paint them often. Kids lately are obsessed with butterflies and spiderman... Boring! I'm gonna ban spiderman, seriously...

So I painted Maddy then started on Morgan's; same design, different colours (green, blue and purple, all neon). Disaster! He decided to cry about nothing in particular (perhaps because I asked him to close his eyes, who knows), which resulted in a big smeary mess running down his face. Face paints and tears do not mix well! So needless to say, it was soap and water and a clean face for him.

Took them to play at local Children's Centre and Maddy showed off her face; after complaining that everyone was looking at her (well, yes of course, it's not everyday you see a neon tiger walk into the room).

Lots of fun had by all 3 of them, playing in the sand, but way too hot and humid. Thank God for the rain that's just started falling.
