Everywhere is so dry here, no rain for many months. Pretoria gets wet warm summers and dry cold winters. Everything everywhere is yellow.

The cross is a memorial for three missionaries who were murdered in Turkey in 2006, its quickly rotting away but there is now a new garden further up the field dedicated to them and others.
