Le vendage!!

Should these grapes be ripening quite so fast??? We have two big vines in the conservatory and they are ladened - the red grapes are just starting to turn. Soon I will be able to recline gracefully demanding that grapes be peeled - always hopeful.

Bounced across the mountain for my two monthly excursion to Schull to get my hair sorted. Hair duly chopped, momentarily tamed and of course, I'm a natural blond! I am!! It's Calves Week in Schull and the yachting types are in town, all skinny tanned legs, shorts and boating caps.

The really exciting news- I had a phonecall last night to tell me I had won second prize in the regatta raffle - 200 euro!! Delighted!
