Pink-Edged Sulphur
My title could be wrong...I've only picked-up a butterfly book today. Normally I can only identify a swallowtail or a monarch like most novice fans of nature. I enjoyed the detail in this photo (best viewed large) because it was burying it's face into the flower and only after uploading my photos did I notice the absence of a probiscis. It's nice to learn something new each day. Oh, I could use help identifying this other blue butterfly. I liked how he looked so different underneath. I have also noticed a swallowtail missing a tail. How does that happen??
Have a wonderful day!!
xoxo
