Old Village Shop, Chapel of Garioch

Neglected for years, the former village shop at Chapel of Garioch has been 'done up' over the past 3-4 months or so, and looks like it's now on the point of becoming somebody's home.

Passing through a neighbouring village on our way home from the Traditional Boat Festival in Portsoy almost a month ago, I was amazed to catch a glimpse of what looked like an identical building there. I can feel an expedition coming on to check this one out - watch this space...!
