Love and Hate

We have a few Victorian fireplaces in the flat. This is the one I stare at while wishing Milo to sleep. It has soothing, warming tones. It lulls me to sleep. Not Milo though.

It also has a reassuringly sturdy marble surround and mantelpiece.

I twatted the mantelpiece with the back of my head when I got out of bed this morning.
