Looking east

A long day; being interviewed about my work (hah!) at 11 am, followed by a performance in the Bedford in the afternoon. The whole day was extremely humid and foggy, despite rumours of bright sunshine only a few miles away. We glimpsed the sun on the distant cliffs whilst traipsing along the esplanade - this is the quiet end, by the lifeboat shed. From the map, those white cliffs could be Beer Head, but don't take my word for it.

In the evening I had to do another turn, this time in the Methodist church. Must have sweated out another pint or so, so had a short rehydration session in the Volunteer before collapsing into bed.
