YUMMY SCALLOPS

Lindsey and I had a delicious meal at Albannach in Trafalgar Square - it is a Scottish restuarant - yes, really! - specialising in British cuisine and British produce. Yummy haggis was on the menu, but it was way too hot to enjoy this delicacy, in my opinion...

...It was 29C in London today, with high humidity. I've enjoyed haggis on St Andrew's Day and for Burns' Night, but never in high summer...

Anyway, these scallops were from Cornwall and they were FAB! They were served with butternut squash and pea puree, with crispy bacon.
