A wee pict(ure)

A rubbing right hand took at Inverness Museum when left hand was browsing the Pictish stones...again! Don't think it was designed for 29 year olds :)

This is the Pictish symbol of the crescent and v-rod, commonly found carved on Pictish stones and jewellery. Noone knows what it means as the Picts left no real written records of their language.
