First of August

This was taken by my best friend, Emily.

We walked through the woods to a field behind her house to explore and take pictures and pick wildflowers and make flower crowns and catch up from the past few weeks, then we had our weekly Bachelorette viewing party :)

I may change this later, we got quite a few that I really like and I still have many to sift through.

Today was a perfect start to a new month. I've been feeling overwhelmed lately, and though I still have too much to do in the next month before college starts, a new beginning is refreshing.

That's what this picture in particular makes me think of. That's probably why I like it so much.
