Harbouring Thoughts

5.30 p.m. Whitstable Harbour, North Kent.

Despite the constant tabloid media obsession with children losing touch with playing outdoors, sitting in darkened rooms constantly indulging in the internet or the latest computer game and growing morbidly obese.

Two things I have learnt today are that : A - Never try to go on a train that is heading towards Margate during the school holidays and B - Kids still seem pretty happy with a bucket and spade or trying to small creatures lurking in shallow water.
