Little spark

In an attempt to amuse the boys tonight while waiting for their dad to come home I took them outside to play with some sparklers. I quickly learned that supervising 2 kids, in the dark, playing with fire and trying to take photos at the same time, does not work. I burnt my finger trying to get 2 sparklers to light at the same time (because it's not acceptable for one boy's sparkler to last longer than the other) and as hard as I tried to watch them Ben somehow burnt a finger too. So any further playing with sparklers will have to wait for a time when there's a little more adult supervision.
Still the kids had fun and it kept them busy while waiting for dinner. Their dad still isn't home and now it's bed time so here goes a whole new battle. Both are quite insistent that they can't sleep without a kiss from Daddy.
