Sidmouth

Backblip

Continued on to the south coast of Devon, to Sidmouth festival. Quite a culture shock, with hundreds of Morris dancers on the esplanade, and the sound of melodeons pumping out dance-tunes coming from every pub. A pretty wee town.

I found the sight of these thatched buildings right on the beach a bit strange, for some reason. I guess that I expect to see pantiled roofs, by the sea.
