Donkeys in Prescot!

There was small carnival in Prescot this afternoon which included these patient donkeys; now I'll be honest donkeys on the sand or on grass for short periods is ok with me and it may help children to get to know more about animals.
These looked very cared for and I did look underneath not just their bellies and rumps.
There was also something I thought had been band by the 'do gooders' a punch and Judy show, as I passed Mr Punch was knocking hell out of Judy and declared he murdered her! so where were the PC brigade I wonder?
What with noise and the oppressive heat again I was glad to leave, I only went for some potatoes and chicken breast!
That said it was a cheerful sight and I think one of Cancer charities was supported.
Point of interest my Sony camera is fine it seems when removing the lens cap I didn't re tighten the lens hood which then caused the shadowing ing two corners on all the pics yesterday.
I didn't actually have my normal cameras with me in Precot but had an old one in the car..thank-goodness!s
