Nowhere To Go
This man sits on the same median corner, in the middle of busy traffic, every day...usually hawking Arizona Daily Star newspapers for a couple of bucks to the people whose cars are stopped at the light.
When the papers are gone, though, it seems like he has nowhere to go. He just continues to sit at the intersection, often smiling broadly and waving at motorists. He's in a more pensive mood here. Unusual.
I've never seen him past sundown, so he must have somewhere to go, but I suspect it's not home to a hot meal.
