I've been meaning to blip this for a while but never got round to it. In the last storm here a month or so ago, this beautiful tree was toppled - it's root system taking the wall with it. It's now over a popular dog walking path in the local woods.
While I was there today, I heard a pair of sparrow hawks calling to each other. Don't know if they were youngsters or adults, but it was fantastic to see them.
Boilingly hot here again.

I keep seeing an advert urging me to adopt a jaguar. I'm quite keen, though I think the dogs might take the huff. And think of the litter tray....
