Spudgers

A great lie-in this morning, and a trip up to the allotment later.
Our Forsythia bush is alive with young sparrows (Passer domesticus) at the moment, enjoying the nice new feeder and emptying it every four days or so. I hope the metal design will make this feeder easier to clean than the previous one; there are a couple of new bird diseases about :(

The youngster on the left is a male, with his black bib just starting to come through.
