It's thingy off the telly

I was woken up this morning by a phone call from my mum to tell me that BBC Breakfast's weather was being broadcast from my local beach - naturally I got dressed, grabbed the dog and the husband and headed down there to see what was happening.
The beach was completely deserted apart from the cameraman and the presenter (Alex Deakin) - we managed to get ourselves filmed on three different segments - nothing too showy-off, just casually walking the dog in the background.
By the time the final piece was filmed, a small child had appeared from nowhere and stood staring intently at Alex while he did his piece to camera. He managed to keep a straight face - what a pro.
