Load of 'Bull'rushes

Been a bit lazy today, well it is hot and very humid, but while walking the dogs this morning I noticed the Bullrush tops are growing quite well.

My Father, who came from the village of Tarrington in Herefordshire, used to tell me they would smoke bullrush 'cigars' when they were children in the countryside. I tried it once, it was the most disgusting thing you've ever tasted, even worse than real cigarettes!
