Sittpå
Project birthday-party continues from yesterday. Knut and I were at the farm Sittpå to pick up a military thermos for hot sausages. Our sports club stores equipment at this farm.
Sittpå is an old 'husmannsplass' connected to Nes farm in Maridalen. Nes farm had 5 or 6 smaller farms like this connected to it. In 1875 9 people lived at Sittpå, and their main income source was timber.
We had a walk in the forest afterwards up to the lake Dausjøen. The name can be translated to the dead lake. I think it is because it is so black and quiet. It is surrounded by some steep hills, so assume it is quite deep.
