It won't work
I know it won't work.
I've bought it anyway.
Lacking in inspiration for a blip today so this is today's poor offering as I couldn't get the shot I wanted.
There's great excitement in Falmouth where I work at the moment because Brad Pitt is supposed to be in town. Yes, THE Brad Pitt is in Falmouth filming his latest Hollywood blockbuster movie. We were supposed to meet for lunch so that I could take a portrait shot of him but he couldn't make it - something to do with needing his make-up touching up for a second take of a particular scene.
Instead, I amused myself my looking at some of the local press reports on the non-sightings of him. Some extracts are below:
"In the last half an hour the yellow SD Salmoor, an admiralty salvage vessel, could be seen in Falmouth Docks with hundreds of people on deck, dressed in dark greens, browns and khaki clothing. A separate man, dressed in beige, could be seen at the bow, separated from the rest of the cast, and the rumour spreading through the spectators was that it was Brad."
"Rumours that Brad was in the area were increased last night, when a luxury white Castle Air helicopter was seen flying over Constantine in the direction of Helston, at around 9pm."
"Crowds gathered at Falmouth docks in the hope of catching a glimpse of the Hollywood star. A false alarm ensued when a blacked-out car arrived at the docks and film fans began waving as photographers snapped away. However, the Western Morning News can reveal the man who stepped from the vehicle was not an actor at all ? but an Australian defence minister who had turned up to have a look around the docks."
In the supermarket after work, I bumped into a colleague who said that he'd heard that Brad was in seen in Trago Mills buying bin liners. "Nooo Way" I shrieked. Yes way: my colleague had heard this story from TWO different people. "Noooooooo way!" I shrieked again, then went down aisle J for cellulite-beating cream that won't work.
I'll see if I can get a shot not of Brad Pitt tomorrow on my lunch break.
