A grand day out...

... in London.

Hubby and I headed down the smoke late morning for our day out. Train to Paddington, then Tube to Piccadilly Circus and walk to Leicester Square to the half price ticket booth. We got tickets for the matinee of Yes, Prime Minister.

With tickets in hand we went walking into Covent Garden looking for a bite to eat and came across this fabulous Mexican Restaurant. So I blipped the unusual entrance on the way out. The food was fab!

After a mooch around we headed to the theatre and enjoyed the gentle, clever comedy!

Next up was a fab meeting with a long term friend who is over from Oz on business. She emigrated back there a year ago as so it was great to catch up. We managed to occupy a table at Carluccio's in COvent Garden for several hours while we munched, drank and talked.

Now we are home and ready to put our feet up!
