Orca Song

The Orca calf plus story, plus Jimmy arrived today so Jimmy & Ann shared the story together. At lunchtime we set off for Elsecar Heritage Centre for some lunch and a trip on their train. Unfortunately they only have a short stretch of track to operate on so the train shunted backwards and forward several times before returning to the platform, which as far as Jimmy was concerned was far less fun than the scheduled train service into Huddersfield. It was incredibly hot too,so there was little air in the carriage.

Finally it rained last night! We also had a visit from some new neighbours, hence the fact that I'm back blipping this morning. It also feels much cooler now and I even closed the bedroom window first thing this morning.
