EC20: desuperheating station in HDR

Had a meeting today and afterwards had the chance to take this one: made out of a set of three pictures and converted to HDR.
On the platform are the hydraulic operated valves which provide the water that is injected in the steamflow between the superheaters. This is done to bring the steam at the right condition to bring it to the steamturbine (at a sliding pressure between 120 and 180 bar and at a temperature of 540°C)
Under the platform are electric valves located; each hydraulic line has an electrically operated back-up.

In the back: the boiler blowdown vessel, where the drains of the boiler come together.
This tank is cooled by a special system
