Echeveria Doodles

This succulent is probably the one called Echeveria 'Lace', and like most echeverias with ruffled edges, a hybrid of Echeveria gibbiflora.

I love to doodle, it keeps my mind calm, occupied with nothingnesses, and allows for a little creativity to come out of the nothingness.

Another cold front settling in; the sun has disappeared behind the clouds and the temperature is dropping. The weather bureau has warned about lots of rain that may cause damage. Snow will probably fall on the high peaks, and by tomorrow morning, the outside world will not feel too comforting.

The garden has a few miniature agapanthus on the edges of flower beds, and I have noticed that one has bravely put out a new flower head - a bit early, perhaps.
But is said: hope maketh not ashamed! (Die hoop beskaam nie), and perhaps soon there may be a spot of purple flowers.
