Damaged Goods

This little piggy is feeling under the weather. My mum noticed she hasn't been eating her veggies properly in the past two days... Just nibbling the corners before abandoning them. A quick trip to the vet downstairs has revealed that, somehow, she has managed to fracture her bottom jaw, which has made chewing very painful.

She has since been doped up on painkillers and is being routinely syringe-fed every 1-2 hours by yours truly. Hopefully we can get some poops passing through shortly, so that the vet can deem her safe to anaesthetise before wiring her jaw back up. Still not sure how it happened!

As you can see from the picture, my syringe-feeding skills aren't all that hot yet... She doesn't seem to mind too much though!
