It rained beautifully and gloriously for all of the morning.

I went out after the rain and found a few pictures similar to the above, but this one was the only one which seemed to be housing jewel-like animal life..(?). The little red things are perhaps spiders or aphids of some sort? They're wet anyway!

On a more boring (and domestic) level, wet washing is ethereally draped from most available surfaces in the house. Some (it's fair to say unique) hanging space has also been improvised. I quite enjoy this kind of Heath Robinson solution. Himself (it's fair to say) finds it Uniquely Stressful. :-)

Never mind! Soon be dry!
