WOW!!

On the way to Mum's with the kids and we had an hour stop in York before our link to Stevenage - and what an hour! Weather was very oppressive when we got there so we sat out on the open sided platform as we had too much luggage to go wandering. Then the rain, thunder and lightening started and what a show!! Huge lightening flashes and RAIN!! - it was so hard it was bouncing about 6" of the ground and the open platforms became small lakes. It was all over before we had to catch our train and luckily didn't cause us any delays, but the fresher air made the rest of the journey much more pleasant.
