Tribal redback

just found and smothered a redback spider with insecticide in the house today. hate those things, makes the hair on the back of my neck stand and my spine tingle.

i always thought that redbacks were black with that red band on the top of their abdomen. regardless my hatred for these things, i can't help but be very facinated with this HDR macro and the markings on the spider.

i wish there was some warning i can put up for all arachnophobics out there, but i guess you won't be clicking on this thumbnail if you were one eh...
