Summer days away - vol 1

Today we travelled north, pretty much according to plan, and arrived at a wee holiday home where we'll spend the next few days. It's just outside Boat of Garten in the Scottish Highlands.

One of the challenges has been packing the three of us and our *stuff* into the Mini. And it worked. There's something nice about being forced to strip down how much you travel with.

I'm turning off mobile data and 3G on my phone to switch off from all but the most essential (family-realted) connectivity and here's the sky tonight. A little cloudy to be sure, but all this wide open space is simply brilliant.
