Bouzouki!*

About 15 years ago a Greek friend loaned me an LP by Maria Linta and Manolis Hiotis . I loved it! When she went back to Cyprus I made sure I forgot to give it back. That's probably bad isn't it? Anyway, five years ago I went to Greece and picked up a copy on CD to add to my vinyl version.

This is the opening track and my ringtone! It dates from 1962. Some people think it sounds Latin American. What do you think?

*I don't have a bouzouki unfortunately, it's a mandolin.
