Crabbing

My friend and colleague Jacqui came over to see us with a little girl she was looking after. She took us out to the Crabshell Inn, which has a priviledged position on the quay of the Kingsbridge/Salcombe estuary, looking out over the silvery water dotted with boats, bobbing softly in the hightide, to the ample green Devon hillsides on the other side, the sun shining merrily on us. Oscar's friend came too. While Jacqui and I relaxed with half a lagar, the kids entertained themselves crabbing off the quay.
