Flight of the Bumblebee

Today's self-imposed challenge:

Get a shot of a bee in flight.


After spending an hour or so trying, I didn't think I had anything in focus. However, after loading them onto the computer, it turned out there were several decent shots. The LCD on the back of the camera is truly pretty useless.

Actually, I'm not sure what kind of bee this is - it sounded like a bumblebee, and was about the right size, but it doesn't have the yellow stripes, and it's not so fuzzy, so I'm not sure. Any melittologists out there?
