Tidepool miracles

My first time to see live sea anemones! No sea stars, but there are green, red, and purple anemones in the tide pools, along with innumerable mussels, tiny pink crabs, the occasional tadpole, and sea weeds red, brown, green, yellow--amazing colors. I'm in Yachats, a wonderful little town with a well-kept trail next to tidepools. This motel has had trouble with its wifi, just got connected this morning. Returning to Portland tonight and hope to post some back-blips and to catch up soon. What a trip it has been! The Oregon coast and the redwood forest are unbelievably beautiful, so beautiful that even my lousy photographic skills are overcome by the beauty. I am in deep, deep awe.
