Dry stone wall

I grew up on the edges of the Peak District (UK) and took dry stone walling for granted. The countryside was full of them, all beautifully constructed and well maintained and not a scrap of concrete in sight. This is not a particularly classy example - rather uneven I'm afraid - but I liked the sky.

In some places dry stone walling is alive and well - classes to keep the tradition and well built walls dividing the fields. Long may it remain.

Thank you for your concern and support yesterday. I am fine - I just needed to get a few things into perspective. You are super friends.
