Weather vane

This is the usual view from where i work, there are 3 weather vanes opposite our building.
About 2 years ago, we came into work to find that all the weather vanes had christmas hats on them, a bunch of students known as the night climbers, had climbed up the buildings without the aid of ropes and safety equipment to do this, it caused great ammusement at the time, as they also climbed up the spires of Kings college chappel and put christmas hats up there as well, these were removed with great expense by proper lumberjacks.

This hat still remains, battered by the weather conditions it is not as red as it was and is slowly wearing away.

I have finished work for the next couple of weeks for a holiday, not going away this year due to finances being rubbish.
Hoping to catch up with Missymoo this weekend for the annual kite festival where she lives, and maybe go and see if i can get some photo's of some hot air ballons on display in the next neighbouring county of Essex.
