Contrails

I set out today with every intention of starting a mini series of shots down by the harbour but then I saw this sky and decided that the series can wait. Shots of things which have been there for years can probably be done another day but skies change all the time so here you have the view from the harbour, looking up the river. A couple of high flying jet planes must have passed over shortly before I got there.

Looking at it again, perhaps it wasn't jets after all. Maybe someone out there knows if this could be a normal high altitude cloud feature.
